MADEX® TWIN is a highly specific insecticide of natural origin composed of Cydia pomonella Granulovirus (CpGv). It acts by ingestion on young codling moth and oriental fruit moth larvae: they stop feeding before dying by liquefying. The speed of action depends on the larval stage: the younger the larva, the faster the mortality. (1 à
2 days for L1).

MADEX® TWIN has a dual action:

  • Rapid action: 2 to 4 days after application, mortality of young larvae is visible.
  • Long-lasting action: larvae infected at an advanced stage (L4) transmit the vector to their offspring. Larvae from infected eggs will also be killed.
